About Hayward Quartz Technology

Our History

Hayward Quartz Technology, Inc. founded in 1984, started in Hayward California with 2 employees in a 10,000 square foot building with a simple goal of supporting quartz fabricators with high quality machined quartz products. 


From humble beginnings, today Hayward Quartz Technology Inc. is recognized as the one of the largest privately held quartz fabricators in the world.  Having grown to over 250 employees, our modern facilities, now located in Fremont, CA, features over 250,000 square feet of manufacturing space, housing the latest in machining equipment.

In addition to being an authorized quartz materials distributor and fabricator for all the major raw material providers, we apply our manufacturing, machining, and fabrication expertise to other materials such as aluminum oxide, single and polycrystalline silicon, aluminum nitride, sapphire, and more. 

Our high-volume production capacity coupled with a complete R&D department are devoted to supporting you with technical assistance and providing quick turn performance for time-sensitive projects.

  • 1700 Corporate Way, Fremont


    The headquarters of Hayward Quartz Technology is at 1700 Corporate Way and the cross street is Warm Spring Blvd. This building can easily be accessible from both 880 and 680 freeways ( please see map ). This building was built in 1996 and is a 75,000 square foot building which houses several departments like : Finance & Accounting, Sales & Customer Services, QC, Shipping & Receiving, Laser, Blanchard, Saw, Mill and Lathe. Our 1000 square foot, state-of-art clean room is also located in this building. This building currently has about 100 full time employees.

  • 1500 Corporate Way, Fremont


    The 1500 Corporate Way building is next to the headquarters building and is also easily accessible from both 880 and 680 freeways ( please see map ). This building is 80,000 square feet and is the home of our mainstream CNC's, glass blowing lathes and some saw machines. Our state of the art glass blowing lathes, 2 or 3 axis CNC machines and their skillful programmers as well as operators can efficiently and sufficiently finish any sophisticated tasks. Currently there are about 60 full time employees.
